A friend took a photo of me in October 2008. It was a true eye opener. First, I could not believe it. I did not really look that bad, did I? It turns out I did. Come to think of it, I did not feel too good either. Being a visual person, this was unacceptable.

Soooo, I started to work out AGAIN. That went fine for a while, but it was not getting me where I wanted to be. I wanted to be solid and strong-inside and out. I thought, "What can I do to make that happen?" This is when I decided to hire a trainer. I know how to work out, but I realize that I do not get the benefits I want without a coach. Josh had an article posted. When I read that, I thought "This guy really knows what he is talking about." When I met him and talked with him that was it. I was hooked and still am. Josh does know what he is talking about and puts that talk into action.

Josh has been training me for 10 months now. I have lost 60 pounds and I have gone from a size 18 to a size 8. I still have more to go, but my strength is developing to the point where I feel like I will be strong and solid inside and out. Without being corny, Josh has been my hero-literally. He is smart, dependable, caring, honest, affordable, fun, supportive, focused, patient and a role model I want to train with to be my best. My goal is still the same "to be strong and solid inside and out", but a new dimension has been added to it-I want to make Josh Chewning proud.
